General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a diploma program aimed at training students to become competent and compassionate nursing professionals. It provides a strong foundation in patient care, maternal and child health, and community health nursing through both classroom learning and hands-on clinical experience. The program prepares graduates to deliver quality healthcare services and meet the needs of patients in various healthcare settings.

Eligibility
- 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable.
- 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing council.
- 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
- Registered ANM with pass mark.7. 5.5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.

Internship Detail
- Adult health Nursing: Assess patients, give pre/post-operative care, administer drugs, manage wounds & emergencies.
- Midwifery Nursing: Provide antenatal, delivery, postnatal care; assist labor; ensure mother & newborn safety.
- Community Health Nursing: Assess community, provide health education, immunization, preventive care.
- Child Health Nursing: Monitor growth, care of sick children, give vaccines, educate parents.
- Mental Health Nursing: Assess mental status, therapeutic communication, manage psychiatric patients, give medications.
